Drug-prioritization Tau score: The value of drug-prioritization Tau score represents a standardized score, ranging from -100 to 100, to measure the specificity of an association between a particular drug and a signature. A highly positive Tau (e.g. Tau = 99) of a drug-signature association suggests that only 1% of the reference signatures showed higher association compared to the current signature.

On the DRE platform, associations with absolute Tau > 80 are shown for each drug-signature. The effect category of an association is based on the sign of Tau score. A positive Tau score indicates that the drug will boost the gene signature and a negative Tau score shows the drug will suppress the gene signature. To draft a quick understanding of each molecular signature and drug, reference links to the drug and signatures, as well as the descriptions for the signatures are provided in all result tables.

Drug-Repurposing module allows users to query for top-associated drugs (abs(Tau) > 80 and FDR < 0.01) for a selected disease. Results are visualized in a form of interactive plot and table. Threshold can be adjusted by the user in the table to facilitate any further filtering. There are currently 9 disease categories in the module, namely,
